Hey everyone! I'm Claudiu, and together with my friend Alin we built PokiPaw - an all-in-one app to track your pet's health and daily routines with your whole family in real time. How it started: One morning, my girlfriend and I got frustrated taking our dog out at 4 AM. He wakes up super early, so usually only one of us gets up take him outside and then go back to sleep but on a couple of mornings he didn't go #2 on the first walk so I ended up freezing outside for 10–20 minutes, afraid of an accident inside, not knowing if he already done no.2 with my girlfriend earlier and I didn't want to wake her up again just for this. So one day I said enough its enough let me look for an app where we could just mark "done" and share it live with each other so we know if he had his potty break or not. But to my surprise I couldn't find anything that did that in particular existed(not saying there wasn't but I couldn't find it myself) so naturally since we build apps I said to my friend dude its time to create an app for pets. From there, we just kept adding everything we wished existed as pet owners: What's inside: Health records in one place: vaccines, treatments, deworming, blood tests, passport photos, vet history Real-time family sharing: invite your family, mark tasks done, get notified so no one double-doses a pill or skips a walk Daily routines: potty, feeding, walks, meds, all trackable with reminders Interactive map: find pet shops, trainers, hotels, parks, and see live park presence ("Central Park – 3 pets right now") to socialize or find a quieter spot Lost pet network: mark your pet as lost on the map all user in 20km range can see that poster on their map, generate a printable poster, and share a public link for non user on social media to boost the chance of finding them Vet link: generate a PIN-locked link so your vet sees the full medical history Expense tracker: by category and time period PDF/CSV export: chronological medical records (great for insurance) and expenses Widgets: tick off routines straight from your home screen Customizable dashboard per pet Works offline: syncs when you're back online 18+ species supported (dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, fish, and more) with breed-specific guidance. We want to expand to as many pets as possible and also provide insights based on species and breed.
