Passive job search has historically worked in an “http-like” ping-pong style: you get a message from recruiter who somehow found you, there's a small chance you'll like it, if you do, some basic conversation happens, and after N weeks and M recruiters you're on the phone with the company you finally kinda like. I wanted to make a “websocket” alternative for it, and that's what Plump is. Your agents are always looking for new opportunities and taking the pulse of the market. Your agents are in constant contact with recruiters and always have good options ready when you need them. And the key is that you don't have to manage any of this yourself. Another reason for Plump's existence is the cluttered content of listings, which very few boards have tried to solve. The only reason we still have a new 'remote only', 'ai focused' board every day is because no one has really tried to break down the listings. You wouldn't need a remote job board if LinkedIn and friends' 'remote' filter worked well. Plump breaks down the job description as much as Thanos tried to split humanity, and we'll make sure to improve the content generation in the next iterations. Plump and I have no funding, so our approach is to build a community around the future of job searching and do the beta around this small group of kind people. I've been a candidate hundreds of times myself, but I'm still discovering new opinions and options from others every day, so I'd really love to talk to you all. Just let me know if you're in
