A free, open-source download manager for macOS, Windows and Linux that combines your internet connections to download files and torrents faster.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Anmol, the maker of Plexo.
The idea behind Plexo is simple: when you have multiple internet connections available, a download should be able to use them together.
Plexo downloads different parts of the same file through the connections you select, then assembles them into one file. Faster connections automatically take on more work, and if a network drops, the others keep going.
For example, you could combine home Wi-Fi with a USB-tethered phone or Ethernet.
Alongside combining connections, Plexo includes:
• Direct downloads, magnet links, and .torrent files in one queue
• Per-network speed limits and data caps
• Live speed charts and a progress grid showing each network’s contribution
Plexo is free and open source for macOS, Windows, and Linux.
A quick heads-up: this is a pre-release, and the builds aren’t code-signed yet.

I’d love to hear how it performs with your network setup. Which connections would you combine, and what would make Plexo more useful for you?
