Hello lovers, makers, and players of games! I'm Idan, founder and CEO of Playtesting.gg and I'm excited to launch our new service today! Playtesting.gg gives you on-demand playtesting for you games, giving you immediate feedback, insights, and bug reports in as short as 24 hours and for just $15/hr. Simply upload your game (or tell us how to get access to it) and our network of testers will start providing you with sessions, complete with transcription and automatic categorization into issues, bugs and so on. We are launching Playtesting.gg because we believe it's never too soon to start playtesting your game. Folks pour years of effort and passion into their games, only to find that players are not able to experience what they've built the way they intended. Our goal is to make it easy for testers and game makers to find one another, and to do so at a cost that makes it easy for everyone (we're 4x more cost effective than the industry average!). Very cool! Excited to try this for some XR games I'm working on. Do you have platform filters for testers so we can target people who already own eg a Quest or a Vision Pro? This is definitely a bit of a tricky thing since these platforms are still quite niche.

@sherbondy Our network of testers covers a wide variety of platforms, including VR/AR - for specialized platforms (say AVP) just contact us about specialized needs (for example, folks have specific requirements for particular controllers as well), but generally our system can suss out what platform a given game/build is designated for automatically!

congratulations on the launch of playtesting.gg, idan. facilitating quick and cost-effective playtesting sounds like a huge relief for game developers. could you share some insights on how you ensure the quality and consistency of feedback from the testers across different games and genres?

@mashy Thanks Albert for the kind words! We work closely with our testers to train them using our software, and improve our software to serve their needs when something is insufficiently effective. Our tool includes an AI powered transcription system that can convert their spoken feedback during a session into clear issues, bugs, comments and so on but they can also come back and annotate sessions manually after the fact. We actively get feedback from our customers about their satisfaction with the sessions that they're receiving from our testers, and we can provide this feedback to our testers as needed - or improve our platform to add certain automated capabilities.
