Hello Everyone, I'm Tom, the creator of Planodes. Since this tool is still in it's early stages, we are very excited to hear all of your feedback and would love to add any features that are still missing. We are planning to refine and improve this product through numerous iterations until it reaches perfection. I'll be here to answer all of your questions. Alternatively, you can also contact the team and I through our website.

@tom_klein2 Congrats!

Intriguing tool for dev project management. How does Planodes differentiate from established platforms? The all-in-one approach sounds convenient, but I'm curious about its learning curve. The visualization of workflows could be a standout feature. Wonder how it handles complex, multi-team projects. Early-stage products often evolve rapidly - interested to see how user feedback shapes Planodes' development.

@andyroamer Hey Andy, thank you for your comment! Planodes differentiates itself from established platforms since it is completely focused on features that are important for developers. There are a lot of tools that use kanban boards or flowcharts. But the connection between all elements is what makes Planodes special. For example, you can link paths to classes and then add these classes to your tickets. So when you are working on your ticket, you will always know, which file to open, when coding. I totally agree! That's what we were aiming for. We are looking to visualize the entire connected platform and will have more updates coming in that direction in the next couple of months. Due to our teams feature, permissions can be divided between users even if you are the only one using a premium account in your team, so clients can view what you want them to see, while other teammates work alongside you. For bigger teams, we introduced the teams plan, with even more customization. Planodes was actually the only productivity and project management tool that we used, when creating it. We started with tickets and the kanban board and added more and more features that we noticed were missing, while developing it. So this product is actually from developers for developers.

I hope developers like using this in the long term

That's a really great idea. Congratulations on the launch.🎉 Is it possible to integrate with tools like Slack or GitHub? That would be really convenient!
Tom Klein
Thank you, @kellypoly! We are currently working on a Github integration, so users can import their projects and functions from GitHub and don't have to manually enter them. This feature is currently only available for select users, since we are continuously working on improving it and adding more benefits that the Github integration would bring. We already have a Slack implementation planned, but probably won't be releasing it in the next couple of weeks.

Hey Tom, I’m wondering how well it integrates with other developer tools or version control systems like Git. Any plans for expanding its collaboration features? Congrats on the launch!

Looks really nice, congrats! Are there integrations with Github / Gitlab, to link to the tickets? BTW noticed the support page text is a bit weird on a smaller screen (tablet), fyi
