Pixel IQ started from a personal frustration: as a photographer and builder, I kept feeling that my favorite images had a “why” that was trapped in technical metadata, color theory, and gut instinct. I wanted a way to translate all of that into language that non-photographers, clients, and even future-me could actually understand. Most tools either show you raw EXIF or generic AI captions, but almost nothing helps you connect camera settings, tonal balance, color relationships, and digital forensics into a coherent, human-readable narrative. Pixel IQ is my attempt to bridge that gap: it acts like an “editor’s brain” for your images, turning the hidden technical and visual decisions behind each photo into clear, contextual insights you can use for teaching, storytelling, and publishing. As I built it, the approach evolved from “EXIF explainer” to “image intelligence layer” for photography. Under the hood, it now blends metadata, pixel analysis, and AI to surface how and why an image works, not just what’s in it. This lets photographers quickly articulate intent, deconstruct their own style, and consistently present their work with more confidence and clarity.
