PhotoWeather helps photographers spot and capture the perfect weather windows. Define rules like fog, gappy clouds, or golden hour; get alerts, sync to calendar, and plan confidently.

As a photographer, I’ve experienced the frustration of missing incredible conditions. You wake up to fog so thick you can barely see your hand in front of your face, only to realize this would have been perfect for that moody forest shot you’ve been planning. Or you arrive at your favorite sunset spot only to find a wall of gray clouds blocking any hope of golden light. The traditional approach has been to check weather apps and hope for the best. But general weather forecasts aren’t designed for photographers. They don’t tell you when fog will be dense enough for dramatic effects, or when cloud coverage will create those perfect gaps for sunbeams. That's why I'm building PhotoWeather, with the idea of turning weather signals into the only thing that actually should matter: when and where can I take the photos I want. I’d especially love feedback on two things: 1. Are the templates covering the “looks” you actually chase? 2. What would make you trust (or distrust) an alert? If you want to try it: start with one location + 3 templates and you should see your first “window” quickly (as long as the weather gods allow it).

It just makes so much easier to know all the weather conditions for taking the perfect picture. I have used TPE before and its a bit costly and also only tells about the cloud cover for dramataic lighting. I did not came across any other alternative that gives us this detailed weather condition geared towards photography.
