What inspired you to create Persona? We repeatedly faced the same problem: networking takes a huge amount of time, but finding the right people is still incredibly difficult. Founders, builders, and professionals often have access to thousands of profiles, yet struggle to find meaningful connections that actually lead to opportunities, partnerships, or growth. What problem were you trying to solve? We wanted to solve the problem of random networking. Most platforms focus on profiles, titles, and followers. We wanted to focus on intentions, goals, values, and compatibility, helping people find the right co-founders, collaborators, mentors, and opportunities faster. How did your approach evolve during the process? Initially, we thought matching could be based on profile information alone. But after speaking with founders and conducting interviews, we realized that the most important information isn’t on a profile. That’s why Persona evolved into a platform built around deeper interviews, continuous feedback, and understanding what people actually want to achieve. Today we’re focused on creating meaningful matches rather than simply increasing the number of connections.
