I built Perception Simulator because accessibility problems are often hard to notice when you experience an interface only through your own perception.
The extension lets designers and developers apply visual scenarios—colour blindness, cataract, tunnel vision, dyslexia, tremor, and more - directly to any webpage. The goal is not medical accuracy; it’s to make accessibility barriers visible and easier to discuss early in the design process.
Everything runs locally in the browser, with no account or data collection.

I’d love to hear: which accessibility scenario would be most useful in your workflow?
Would love to see a way to share a permalink that captures the exact simulation settings applied to a specific page, so I can send a teammate "look at this with protanopia and 60% blur" without them having to recreate it manually.
tried the cataract filter on a few news sites and it was eye-opening, literally could not read half the buttons. love that everything runs locally, felt safe leaving it on while testing.
Love the ideas @sergeybuharev It would be awesome if there is a quick shareable image button that can copy the image to the clipboard and allow it to be posted in to a slack, or group chats or to be sent via texts. The power is in the visual of "this is how a person with visual impairment see our site.
