Hi Product Hunt 👋 I’ve been building PDF Recast to solve a problem that looked simple at first: editing an existing PDF directly in the browser. PDFs turned out to be anything but simple. Different fonts, encodings, scanned documents and PDF structures made real-world files much more challenging than expected. PDF Recast now supports PDF text editing along with tools such as signatures, merge, compression and conversion. I'm especially interested in feedback from people who regularly work with PDFs. If you try it with a real-world, non-sensitive PDF and something doesn’t work as expected, please let me know. Those difficult cases are particularly useful for improving compatibility.
