PayCalcHub offers free, transparent financial calculators for US workers: salary (take-home pay for all 50 states plus DC, Canada, UK, and Australia), mortgage (full PITI with amortization), loan, and hourly-to-salary conversion. Every calculator uses current IRS brackets, state tax rates, and FICA data, updated annually, with methodology and sources documented on every page. No signup, no paywall, no ads disguised as advice. Built and maintained by one person.

One thing that would make this way more useful for me is a side-by-side comparison of two job offers. If I plug in two different salaries, the tool could show me the difference in take-home pay, taxes, and even hourly equivalent so I can quickly see which offer actually comes out ahead after state taxes.
the fact that you publish your methodology and sources on every page is honestly so refreshing, you know most finance sites just throw out numbers and hope nobody asks questions. one person building this and keeping IRS brackets current is kind of wild honestly
the take-home pay calculator is genuinely useful and i appreciate the no signup thing, super low friction. one thing that would make it even better is adding a side by side comparison view so you can see how a job offer in say texas stacks up against one in california after taxes. would help a lot of people during job hunting
the fact that you document the methodology and sources on every single page is honestly so refreshing, so many of these tools just throw numbers at you without explaining anything.
