PatternForge AI is a Chrome extension (Manifest V3) that reads the symbol and timeframe off a live chart, matches the current price shape against thousands of bars of history, and reports what actually happened next — a BUY, SELL, or HOLD call with an entry, stop-loss, and take-profit level, backed by a measured historical win rate rather than a guess. HISTORICAL PATTERN ENGINE When enough matching history exists, direction and win rate come from replaying every similar past shape bar-by-bar with the exact stop/target the card shows — not from a model's opinion. NO FABRICATED NUMBERS If there isn't enough matched history to test a direction (fewer than 3 resolved analogues on either side), the card returns HOLD instead of inventing a level. An optional AI layer (bring your own API key) adds a plain-language explanation on top of the quantitative call — it never overrides the direction, entry, stop, or target, all of which come from the replay engine. What I learned building PatternForge AI

I started building PatternForge AI because I wanted a more structured way to examine chart patterns and historical analogues.

Over roughly three months, I iterated through hundreds of ideas, tests and AI-assisted development sessions.

One lesson surprised me: a trading tool shouldn't manufacture a signal when the available data isn't strong enough.

That's why PatternForge AI can return NO SIGNAL when there isn't enough replay/history evidence.

I'm still improving it and would love feedback from traders and builders.
