About

Content Writer, Trader & Tool Developer I’m Muhiuddin Alam, a content writer, active Forex trader, and tool developer. Forex trading is a core part of my profession. I focus on risk management, execution quality, position sizing, and a disciplined process. Many tools I build come from real trading needs. I run ReadingAndThinking.com & GeekBookReviews.com for honest book reviews and recommendations (fiction + practical nonfiction). SteelSolver.com offers steel/aluminum calculators for weight, welding, cut lists, and fabrication. ExtensionHub.app provides single-purpose Chrome extensions for trading risk, Amazon sellers, import/export, and small businesses; most run locally with transparent formulas. I create clear, useful resources from direct experience as a reader, trader, and developer.

🚀 PatternForge AI is launching on Product Hunt

I've spent the past few months building PatternForge AI, a Chrome extension for structured chart-pattern analysis and trading research.

It brings several parts of the workflow together:

Chart pattern analysis
Historical pattern analogues
Potential entry, SL & TP planning
Risk tools
Trade replay
Trade journal
BUY / SELL / HOLD analysis

One feature I'm particularly interested in is the NO SIGNAL fallback.

How do you validate a chart pattern before entering a trade?

I've been experimenting with a workflow that compares the current chart structure with historical price patterns instead of relying only on visual pattern recognition.

I'm curious how other traders approach pattern validation. Do you use historical analogues, indicators, manual backtesting, or something else?
