I've been a teacher at Pathrise since early 2021; it is an incredible community of like-minded people helping those who need it. I helped place over 150 people when I was an Industry Mentor there. You will notice that most of the negative reviews fall into two categories. They were mad; we told them we did not feel comfortable placing them; in other words, we respected their time. The others have yet to come to our Program and are shadowboxing with what we do. We allow people a very generous amount of time to try out our program before they are locked in for the long haul; I suggest, if you are on the fence, meet with us, have some free calls, and judge for yourself. I'd hate for random internet chatter to keep you from the next best version of yourself!

First and foremost, Pathrise's business model distinguishes it from competitors. I had a remarkable experience with my Admission counselor, who was exceptionally thorough and straightforward. My career coach is a fantastic listener and offers invaluable advice. Most of the mentors are seasoned professionals who provide insightful feedback. It's simply a matter of finding the ideal mentor from the diverse pool available. This assists in refining your profile and approach during interviews, updating your resume, and optimizing your LinkedIn profile.

In the past I have worked with recruiters, who are effective at representations towards clients - Pathrise is completely different, innovative, and effective. The platform is designed to give you the tools to succeed in every stage of the job hunt. At least two different AI tools aid in matching job descriptions to resumes, right on your browser. A proven methodology of outreach and contacting potential employers. Pathrise adds onto all these tools with collaboration from behavioral and industry-specific experts that aid in mock interviews and idea generations for interviews. Pathrise also signs a dedicated mentor to aid in all of the process. Optional webinars are happening constantly that only add value to the experience. I would highly recommend Pathrise to anyone looking for a career shift or a new opportunity.

This company is very weird. I have 17 years of commercial experience in the IT industry as a UNIX / Linux system administrator, Java developer, project manager, and Cloud Site Reliability Engineer. I applied for the IT & Cybersecurity track. I was rejected. I asked for an explanation. I kid you not somebody responded with: “Thank you for reaching out and sharing a copy of your resume. We greatly appreciate you applying to the Pathrise program. Unfortunately, after a second review of your application, it does not appear that we are able to move you forward in our program at this time. Happy to provide a more detailed explanation. Since we are a career advancement service and unable to offer technical training or educational certifications, we do require either a recent, relevant degree or 1-year of full-time, current work experience for the track in which you are applying. Under our IT and Cybersecurity track, for example, we would require at least a year experience in a role such as Help Desk Support, System Administrator, Application Support, Cloud Engineer, Cybersecurity, IT Support, or similar.” I thought having more than years of commercial experience being a UNIX / Linux system administrator and cloud site reliability engineer would be considered as “relevant” experience. Apparently not! I responded and asked for an explanation further only to be ghosted by this person at Pathrise. I was completely baffled, confounded, and dumbfounded by her explanation.

Interesting idea for passive job seekers. But are the questions REAL questions from real interviews? And how do you collect questions?

Very well designed! I love the UI because it's very easy to read about two companies at the same time. Don't have any major feedback, but here are some ideas for potential features you may want to add: - It can be helpful to add a section for companies that are in the same competitive space or industries so when a user is trying to assess competition it's already there and they can simply click on it. For example, 'Bird' and 'Lime' are direct competitors so there can be an express comparison section for companies in that range. We can also add a filtering option comparing companies by industries, for example, 'logistics', 'social media', 'cloud' technology, etc.
