Traditional journals are private. Social media is public. Pandiary lives in the space between, you either — share it, hide it, or seal it like Pandora's box. Three ways to write: Public — share your honest thoughts with the world Private — keep entries completely hidden from others Locked — seal your confessions behind a lock that others can pay to open Also inside: AI writing assistant to help you find the right words Beautifully crafted page styles Photo memories woven into your stories

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Pandiary because I noticed something missing between private journaling apps and social media. Journals are too isolated — you write and forget. Social media is too exposed — you filter everything. Neither lets you be truly honest.
The idea started simple: what if you could write your rawest thoughts and choose exactly how much to reveal? That's where the three post types came from — public, private, and locked.
The Locked Post is the heart of Pandiary. You seal away a confession, and it sits there in the feed like Pandora's box, tempting others to open it. It turns passive journaling into something with real tension and curiosity. Some of the best entries are the ones people were afraid to write.
I also integrated AI to help with the hardest part — getting started. Sometimes you know what you feel but can't find the words. The AI assistant nudges you past that blank page.
Building this as a solo developer has been a journey. The biggest challenge was getting the balance right between community and privacy — making sure people feel safe enough to be honest, while keeping the social layer engaging.
I'd love to hear your thoughts. What would make you want to journal more honestly? Drop any questions below — I'm here all day!
