Packet Capture Pro is a modern packet capture and network debugging tool for Windows and macOS. Capture and decrypt HTTP/HTTPS traffic, inspect JSON/XML/HTML and more, compare request/response, and replay requests to reproduce tricky bugs. Pair it with the PCP mobile app to mirror traffic from Android and iOS devices to your desktop in real time — no root or jailbreak required on mobile. All data stays on your device and is never uploaded to any server.
A diffing view for comparing two captures side by side would be huge for tracking down regressions over time. Right now you can compare single request/response pairs, but being able to load two full capture files and highlight the differences across all requests would save a ton of manual work when triaging bugs that appear after a deploy.
Mobile mirroring sounds really useful, especially the no root/jailbreak part. One thing that would save me a lot of time is the ability to add scripted assertions to replayed requests, so I could check status codes, headers, or JSON paths automatically instead of eyeballing every response.
