I appreciate the effort, but you can achieve the same like this:
1) Uncheck "Auto-Sync when this iPhone is connected" in iTunes Settings
2) Install NoMoreiTunes Safari (https://www.macupdate.com/app/ma...)
The new Bose QC 35 doesn't open itunes when you click play/pause. It rather stops and plays soundcloud for instance.

I love this. so simple, yet relieves so much pain. I totally misread this as the "iTunes killer app", which is funny because it truly is the iTunes killer.
It'd also be a great trick to pull on someone where any application launched is instantly killed lol.

So if there can be more control: 1. Staying in the menu bar so that we can toggle it on and off, or 2. Having a condition settings, says if Xcode is opened, iTunes and Photos will be killed automatically, then it will be a very nice product :)

I’m going to test this out on my significant other’s laptop. Keeps asking for Apple ID sign in and takes away from the Netflix everytime 🤦🏽♂️

My friend split water on my keyboard a while ago, and since then the right arrow key triggers iTunes EVERY SINGLE TIME I PRESS IT. As you can imagine, this is a pain for code editing etc.
