OpnSouls

Hi everyone, My name is Nik and I am cofounder of OpnSouls app Our team was inspired to create the app because we recognized that many people struggle to have meaningful conversations with their friends and loved ones. We noticed that people often rely on small talk or superficial topics to fill the gaps in conversation, rather than delving deeper and really getting to know one another. We wanted to change that, so we came up with the idea for OpnSouls: a social app that helps people get to know their friends better through daily icebreaking questions. We believed that by providing a structured way for people to engage in meaningful conversations, we could help them deepen their relationships and learn more about the people they care about. So, we set out to build OpnSouls. We worked hard to create a user-friendly app that was easy to use, and we carefully designed the daily icebreaking questions to be thought-provoking and engaging. And after months of hard work, we were finally ready to launch the app. We hope you will love it too 🖤

Totally cool mission, I really like where the heart is in your product. Anything that helps people regain their footing in the lonely, siloed world is worth the hassle these days. I actually think that if we don't drastically engage with building more humane tech that helps people restore a sense of equilibrium, we are royally screwed as a specie, and it will all be self-inflicted.

Cool idea! Congrats on the launch! Do you plan to offer this to companies as well? Guessing there would be an interest in getting employees at larger orgs to better get to know each other through the icebreakers :)

I’m always trying to find great ways to keep in touch with people that I’ve had meaningful connections with in the past, but are no longer close in proximity. For me, games have been a good way to do this. I like that you created a format that allows you to get to know people on a deeper level on a daily basis. Really exciting stuff!
