Hey @umbertogreco! Sounds like a great idea, how does it raise money by each tab opened? Are there adverts on the new tab?

@wlan_werner @sebastian_baue @umbertogreco @euro_mist Hey there, I downloaded the extension and took a look. There are small banner ads at the bottom right-hand side of the new tab. This appears to be how it raises money.

@wlan_werner @sebastian_baue @euro_mist @calum Sorry for the delay :((( @calum is right, we place a small banner ad the the bottom of the page to raise money for our cause, and then mostly rely on donations to cover our costs as a nonprofit. We're currently working on updating our website and adding a FAQ to be more transparent with how it all works.

Hi Makers, We launched OpenTabs out of a frustration of not making enough of an impact, and circumventing common excuses (too broke or don't have time). We're in the process of developing more stupidly-simple ways of making an impact, and are alwasy looking for ways to continuously improve & grow our extension and consequently our impact.
