Congratulations on your launch Hoai!
I have been a long-time user of Bear and I really like its local-first approach and iCloud storage strategy. OpenNotas looks good, especially since it is an open-source project. I am curious about how OpenNotas ensures user data security?
@bonvisions Thank you for sharing your thoughts and expressing your appreciation for Bear. I understand that data security is a significant concern for OpenNotas, and you have written a short article about how the application protects user data. You can find detailed information about data security in OpenNotas at the following link: https://docs.opennotas.io/advanc.... I hope this addresses any questions you may have had.

to be honest apart from being a open source app, I don't think I'm gonna use it, as I didn't find any key difference from other apps.
@ajay_kumar_yadav4 Thank you for your feedback. It's great to hear that OpenNotas has been able to provide you with a reliable note-taking solution and avoid many of the troubles you encountered with other alternatives. I believe that each application addresses some of the users' needs, and once you find the right fit for your requirements, it becomes irreplaceable. I'm glad that OpenNotas meets your needs and provides a feasible solution for you.

@ajay_kumar_yadav4@hoaitx What's the deal with these comments? Have you even bothered to read what the person you're responding to actually said?

@livejamie might be I'm wrong so requesting you to just give me a brief about why it's different for other apps apart from being open source. ( no hard feelings maybe I'm not able to see the vision of the maker : )
@livejamie@ajay_kumar_yadav4 I apologize, it seems I was a bit hasty with my response, which led to a misleading answer. What I meant to say is that each application is created to address a specific need, making it difficult to compare which one is better as it largely depends on individual needs. Therefore, I just wanted to briefly state that OpenNotas focuses on simplicity and security. Best regards!

@hoaitx Now, I understand your vision (simplicity and security), also no need of apologize from my side, wish you the very best for your product.

Writing this review after personally using the app. OpenNotas seems like a great alternative to Google Keep and the offline support is also great. Huge congratulations on a great launch and I'll be keeping an eye on how OpenNotas evolves.
@williamkanzai first thank you for your concern. I studied the memory problem in the browser very carefully, so I decided to use IndexedDB to store note data. This is an API that offers a large amount of capacity, it is so large that it is enough to store millions of personal notes. So in the near future I think that overcharging is unlikely. But I hope the browser will have better storage solutions in the future.

@hoaitx OpenNotas sounds like a great app! How do you handle synchronization between different platforms to ensure a smooth experience for users?
Hello @laocool, thank you for the interesting question. I built OpenNotas on a web platform, so it can be used across multiple platforms. Additionally, synchronization is an important feature of the application. I spent a lot of time researching it because it involves both online and offline users. Essentially, I used a combination of local databases and server data to help users work both offline and online. For more details, you can check out a short article I wrote here: https://docs.opennotas.io/advanc...
