Hi, I tried using the tool. Everything works great.
I also think it’s cool to display random historical facts while the file is downloading.
What needs improvement
I recommend adding a one-time download feature. Right now, you can download as much as you want while the timer is running.
I also didn’t really like how persistent the requests to leave a review were. Something popped up at every step asking for a review—it was just too much.

Hey everyone 👋,
I’m the maker of OpenBeam and super excited (and a little nervous 😅) to finally share this with you all.
The idea came from my own frustration:
Every time I had to send large files or entire folders, I hit the same walls
Dropbox pushing upgrades, WeTransfer’s 2GB limit, Google Drive constantly full.
So I built OpenBeam to scratch my own itch:
Upload & share files up to 50GB
Upload and share complete folders
Unlimited live sharing (send the link even while uploading)
No login , just a simple link
This is still an MVP, and I’d love your feedback on a few things:
