Hey PH 👋 ! We're OOO. (or Out Of Office) A social travel startup helping people find trusted recs and plan travel. Our main product is a mobile app that let's you add recommendations, follow friends, create trips, and collaborate with friends. We're excited to be dipping our toes into automated travel planning with this product - the OOO AI Trip Generator [BETA]. We use our vast database of users, places, recommendations, along with some AI, to create customized trip itineraries based on a few simple questions. We expect to integrate this concept for fully into our mobile app in the near future so our users can get truly customized itineraries based on their previous trips, recommendations, network and other data. But for now, feel free to play around, build trips, share with friends, and save your trips in the Out Of Office app to edit places, invite & collaborate with friends and more.

@timmort Hey Tim! Not at the moment, but that's a great input to add (have 2 kids myself, so I know those are very different trips). If you download our main app (Out Of Office) you can search and filter by places that are good for kids, so that might be a good option!

@timcha Hey Tim! Right now the only source is our primary app right now (Out Of Office), but that's an interesting idea! We're also working on hotel booking integration as we speak as well, so soon you'll be able to book directly from your itinerary.

Shouldn't it kind of know at least something about me or be aware of my preferences? I ran a trip to Calgary and among the itinerary was a morning at a spin-cycle gym and another morning playing mini-golf. I hate these things with a passion! Otherwise the implementation is really good, the images presented for each activity all looks pretty enticing.

The goal is to integrate this into our main app, which does know those things about you (because of our onboarding quiz and also your activity in the app). We wanted to put this out there to test things out, see what improvements were needed and do some user research before we integrate it more fully into our app!
