Can't find any "official" text on Onion Browser website (Am I missing something?).
Only mentioned in tor official blog post here: https://blog.torproject.org/blog... .
@yuluntw this is NOT the official tor app for iOS. The post has been changed to reflect that. My mistake. I found it labeled as "the official tor app" on Ars http://arstechnica.com/security/...

Same browser that's been available since Nov 2013. Grateful to have it as it was super helpful when I had to order something from Silk Road on the go. But why is it being featured now as if it's some new, breakthrough product?

How's this the official "Tor" browser if the website clearly states "Onion Browser is not affiliated with nor endorsed by the Tor Project"?
Why is there no official tor app for iOS? App Store restrictions on Apple side or privacy/technical concerns on the Tor side?

Web-browsing is much slower for the benefit of:
1 ) Websites do not see your real IP address.
2 ) Access .onion sites that are only accessible over Tor.
3 ) ISPs and insecure wireless networks cannot track your browsing.
4 ) Fight online tracking: use a new IP address and clear your cookies/history/cache in one button.
As a User - My thinking:
> Since most apps are becoming "progressive" this means we are looking at a dual-browser future:
>> Browser A- Chrome) For Doing Work with Tools that work best in my Chrome Browser
>> Browser B- Onion-Like-Browser) For surfing around and reading... actually just for using reddit.. lol!
Question to my fellow web surfers:
> Is slower Web-Browsing an expense you can afford?
Great!
Packed full of power like you'd expect, but then again it could do a bit more with the design 💁🏻♂️. However when using Tor, design isn't your first concern.

This isn't official. Your description is misleading to others. ProductHunt really needs a downvote button for people who post things just to get karma.
