@prolax I hadn't read that, I saw there's no IP rating and I assumed, thanks. It's still just splash resistant though... @dayaldave of course not but it's so easy to drop your phone in water accidentally. Also what happens when you go to the beach or the pool? Someone could easily get the phone wet. And I can't deny it's really cool to be able to take underwater photos with your phone and wash it when it's dirty. I read on XDA that OnePlus said "Asking consumers to pay $30 more as an example for the sake of an IP rating is unreasonable". Come on, it would only cost 30 $ more??

@anna_0x According to me, people will take for granted such water resistant features and tend to be more careless with their phone.

@dayaldave even if that's true, what's the harm in that? If it's water resistant, you don't have to be careful with it when it comes to water. That's the whole point.
