Seems in the vein of Beme, but for stills. I watched the promo video... which was ironically fancy and produced, (unlike Casey's videos (mixed message much?)), and at the end, a ridesharing driving snaps a pic (without permission) of his rider (what?!) and then you see a notification overlay that it got a "like". Seems like a great platform for bullying, not self-expression. 😕
Where other platforms are encouraging people to share as much as possible, Onee is restricting engagement to one photo an hour.

This seems like a really odd product idea, I just don't see why someone would want to autoshare a photo. It also has really gross cyberbullying potential.

@kvisner it doesn't feel like i'd want to use it much. Why would it have more cyberbullying potential than Instagram, yikyak or FB?
Report
@jamesburton69 Because everything is automatically published and you can't take it down for at least and hour. Imagine if the photo is particularly unflattering or maybe the subject has a wardrobe issue. That person would have to sit there and wait an hour to remove that photo.
