Oh Yah!

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built Oh Yah! to solve a problem at home - my wife and I were exhausted from constantly reminding our sons about their daily tasks. The app name actually comes from their usual response whenever we asked them about their schedule/homework: "Oh Yah! I forgot." Why I built this? Managing kids' routines shouldn't require constant nagging. We were tired and frustrated, so I wanted something that helps kids take ownership of their tasks while giving parents visibility and control. How it works - Kids see their tasks for the day, complete them with timed focus mode - Photo verification ensures tasks are actually done - Parents review and decide on rewards - Different schedules for different weeks (school vs holidays) Been using it with my family for the past few weeks and it's been working well. My sons actually check the app themselves now instead of waiting for reminders. Built solo with React Native + Expo. Happy to answer any questions about the app or the development process!
