Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm AJ. Been making films for 21 years (actor for the major studios, writer, award-winning director, a Sundance fellowship). Here's the problem I built this for: writing the movie is maybe 10% of getting it made. The other 90% is producer work. Packaging, pitch decks, chain-of-title contracts, festival strategy, financing, distribution. All the stuff silently killing filmmakers' hopes and career traction.
OGF AI is the producer's side of a film in one place. Whether you're making a $40K micro-budget feature or putting together a $2M financed indie, you set your project up once (script, budget, goals) and eight tools share that same project brain:
🎬 OGF Mode: development companion from logline to investor-ready structure
📊 Pitch Deck Builder: 13-slide investor deck in under 10 minutes, including images and copy
📝 Contract Builder: 9 chain-of-title contract categories sourced from executed indie deals
🏆 Festival Strategy: custom festival paths across 200+ verified festivals, with cover letters + PR playbooks
💰 Financing Intelligence: 500+ grants, plus tax-incentive math, and drafted grant letters
📦 Distribution Intelligence + Self-Distribution: per-buyer pitch packets, distributor matching, and full direct-release strategy
I'm not a theorist about this. For the past 3 years I've run a program where filmmakers actually ship features instead of waiting for permission. 35+ films shot in the last 12 months. OGF AI is that whole methodology turned into software, and it scales with your ambition. It'll help you find grants and tax incentives to reach a real financed budget, or design a lean self-financed shoot, depending on what the project needs.
The bet: an indie film typically spends $29,500+ on the services this covers. OGF AI starts at $58/mo.
It's not trying to replace producers. It's for the filmmaker who doesn't have one yet, at any budget.
Would love honest feedback from this community, especially from anyone who's ever tried to get a film financed or distributed. Happy to get into the weeds on financing strategy, festival paths, chain-of-title, or how the AI is actually built. 🎥

to try this out is to basically hand off the stuff producers always procrastinate on. generating grant matches and festival strategy from a single project setup feels like it could actually save weeks. curious how it handles chain-of-title when the rights situation gets weird.

@dnek7tx Exactly. We've all waited around for months or years for somebody to move the ball. This is built to put the power back in your hands. Chain of Title can re-draft at will. It's chat based, so you can always talk to it to find the best solutions! Thanks for checking it out!

Setup was genuinely painless, I added my project details and the grant matches it pulled up were actually relevant to my short film, not generic suggestions. The chain of title template saved me a couple hours of formatting alone.

@mahmutjldv Brilliant! So glad to hear that! Thank you for giving it a go!

The festival strategy doc came back surprisingly tailored to my project's budget level instead of generic advice. Wish I had this during my last short film campaign, would have saved me a ton of late-night Googling.

@fatih930485 Thank you so much for giving it a try. I agree, the pain and cost of festivals alone are worth the whole program.

OGF AI is an easy to use intuitive program. It guides you through beginning to the end stage of your film project. The developer AJ Rome is an awesome guy. He's made it 1000% simpler for anyone trying to make a film do that, without all the pitching and confusion. Simple, sleek, and surprisingly, as one reviewer noted, the AI helps you, but it doesn't automatically write your film. It's a tool, mainly to organize, and package it. I'm still tinkering with it, and because it's developed by someone who's already made films, I trust it more than someone who just makes apps. Great job!

love that it keeps the producer in the driver's seat instead of replacing them, just quietly handling the boring paperwork side so you can stay focused on the actual shoot.

@berke746137 YES. This is exactly the use case I'd hoped for. It's like a producer or producer's assistant that's on the ball, keeping track of everything so you can focus on the creative parts that you got into this for in the first place. Thank you for the feedback!
