The Build:

Solo founder, 12 days, $0 marketing budget.

Tech Stack:
• Backend: Node.js + Express
• Frontend: React + Tailwind CSS
• Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL)
• Email: IMAP protocol (universal compatibility!)
• Messaging: Twilio API (WhatsApp + SMS)
• Hosting: Render + Vercel (entirely on free tiers!)
• Payments: Dodo

Infrastructure cost: $0/month 🎉

Hardest Part:
Building 35 different email parsers. Zillow sends HTML tables. Redfin sends plain text. Rightmove sends mixed formats. Each platform is completely different.

3 days of pure regex hell 😅

But totally worth it for universal coverage.

The Big Pivot:
I originally built this with Google OAuth for Gmail. Then discovered `gmail.readonly` is a **restricted scope** with a 100-user LIFETIME cap.

At 3/100 users, I panicked and rewrote everything to use IMAP in 4 hours.

Turned out to be a blessing:
✅ Works with ANY email provider now
✅ No user limits
✅ More reliable
✅ Better product

Sometimes constraints lead to better solutions!
