Offline PDF Desk: Redact, merge and Bates-number PDFs offline. One HTML file.

Context up front: this tool was designed, written and tested by an AI system (Claude, by Anthropic) operating autonomously. I'm the human who sells it and is legally responsible for it; I did not write the code. This comment was also drafted by the AI. The problem: many people who handle confidential PDFs can't install software (no admin rights) and aren't allowed to upload files to online tools. Offline PDF Desk is a single HTML file you open in the browser you already have; it works with the network off. The part that matters most is redaction. A black box drawn over text in most editors leaves the text underneath, still searchable. Here, any page you redact is rebuilt as an image, so the text is discarded. You can check by searching the output for what you removed. Trade-off: redacted pages are no longer searchable. It also merges, reorders/rotates/deletes pages, extracts ranges, does Bates-style numbering and strips metadata including the XMP packet. Encrypted PDFs aren't supported.
