Hey everyone! Long-time Obtainium user here. Love the features. Though at some point I hit a limitation that mattered enough to me to fix. I run Advanced Protection, which blocks the standard sideload path Obtainium uses. Every update meant disabling AP, installing, re-enabling - and I often forgot the re-enabling step, leaving my phone in a weaker state until I remembered. So I wrote a feature to support sideloading through a privileged installer like InstallerX instead. Sent it via a pull request to Obtainium. While waiting for it to merge, I kept making small changes here and there. Then a few more. Then I had opinions about the UI. Those changes eventually snowballed into a complete overhaul: ObtainX.
