Exceptional. It has totally replaced all other notes apps for me. Only feedback - wish the app opened slightly faster on mobile But this is a 10/10

I've been using Obsidian for years and it has given me the most satisfying user experience of any notes app even through various re-starts and re-structures as my needs have changed. I'm always excited to see what new things they come up with.

After the 1.0 update obsidian has truly become an unbeatable app for all kinds of tasks. Writing, researching, journaling, organising, brainstorming... you name it. The community is incredible and the devs have a rock solid reputation (as of 12/21/22 haha). Easy 5 stars.

Superb note-taking, task organisation and writing tool. I use Obsidian for both work, personal and creative endeavours.

I started using Obsidian about two years ago and it has literally change my life. I now have all of my knowledge inside, and every single day I find new ways to use the app and also new knowledge inside my own notes - as everything is connected. And this last point is the number one reason for using Obsidian: Every time I add some new information, it connects to old information, and make old information resurface because of backlinks. Brilliant. I have started THINKING differently after using Obsidian, which is a testament for how clever this app is. And everything is "just" text files that easily fit on flash drive if I wanted. Futureproof and light.

It is simply irreplaceable. I travelled from Evernote, one note to notion and finally to obsidian and I don't see myself wanting to explore anywhere else. There is a plugin for things you want, for those you didn't think you want.

Very steep learning curve. Adding Nick Milo's LYT framework on top really helped me focus on what was required to make this a useful PKM for me!

At first Obsidian was a little bit intimidating, however, following the quick tutorial I learned how to create notes and brainstorm without any distractions using Obsidian. Furthermore, Obsidian has a huge library of free add-ons to customize Obsidian according to everyone needs.

Really excellent tool, especially for long-form note-taking. The user interface has an overall elegance that makes this tool stand-out. It would be five stars if the developers truly respected user freedom by making Obsidian open source software.
