I love that you are doing this! As someone with "ideaphoria" I always thought there should be a repository for the hundreds of ideas I have but I can't pursue. I had an idea to name it "The Idea Vault" and each idea could be withdrawn and purchased by someone who needs ideas, haha! Your site has so many great ideas, just reading it is an idea-generator in itself. And I would like to see it kept all human generated. No AI ideas. I want to see what other humans are thinking about.

This reminds me of 3 idea Thursdays from the Brainstorm newsletter! I like how folks can talk about it though. I think this is where you can discover ideas, but prob can't validate (beyond common sense), unless there are SEVERAL potential users there. Though, that alone is AMAZING. At least top voted ideas have some merit to be explored! Congrats @yuvraj_sarda !

Yep, this is mostly where you discover ideas. You would mostly have to venture out in the real world and talk to people to validate them.

Thinking whether there's a way to scrape some of the top (unsolved) ideas from reddit or twitter using the specific keywords included in ideation.

@harshxtag Scraping from reddit and twitter is hard because people generally don't describe the ideas in much detail there. But scraping – yea that's coming soon (follow to stay posted!).

@kyrylosilin Great question! As a first quality filter, I manually approve idea submissions – just to avoid spam and perhaps reword things to be clearer. Might automate this somehow in the future. Thereafter, often, the community builds on the ideas, using their creativity to suggest ways of making the idea more original and feasible (this idea is a great example of this). So, even ideas that are seemingly dumb at first sight tend to evolve into good ideas. Finally, the list is dynamic. Once a suitable implementation of an idea is found (or made), we close discussion ideas and stop showing them on the repository. This ensures that any ideas you see are at least not obviously well-established. PS: if you see an idea that you think is bad quality, leave a comment. If your comment sufficiently addresses it, we'll close the idea and save everyone some time 🙌 .
