We've been using Nume since early release and it's been a smooth experience that keeps getting better. Easy to get going too, which mattered while we've been heads down on SOC 2.
Main use case for us is board pack. Reforecasting is the time sink I always leave to the last minute, and Nume has already made a dent in that.
The first real hook was being able to query our Xero data without the constant MFA and context switching. For our recent board pack I used Nume to pull actuals straight into my existing model. Worth noting at our stage we haven't integrated Xero properly, given the pace of which our processes are evolving and the cost to pay someone to set up an automation isn't worth the headache, so being able to just ask and get clean numbers back is a real unlock.
What stood out:
Tables are clearly laid out and formatted, easy to lift into a deck or generate directly
Reasoning when it catches edge cases. I asked it to forecast on average revenue and it flagged that an upfront annual payment was skewing the average and pulling it away from true MRR
Exports to Excel and PowerPoint, so the analysis actually can be easily added to packs
The slide outputs have nudged me to think about new ways of presenting the numbers
Excited by the pace of development.
