I built nudgeTab because I was tired of losing important things in the chaos of open tabs — a vendor quote I needed to follow up on, a domain about to expire, an article I swore I'd read "later." Bookmarks felt too passive and to-do apps meant yet another place to check.
The idea was simple: what if a reminder could just find you wherever you already are — Gmail, Facebook, whatever tab you're staring at — instead of you having to remember to go check it?
Early versions were a toast notification that vanished in 3 seconds (useless, ignored immediately). The real unlock came when we made reminders persistent and cross-tab — they follow you until you actually resolve them, not until some timer decides you've seen it.

Would love a snooze option right inside the nudge, like a little "remind me in 15 min" button that pops up when the alert fires. Sometimes you just need a quick heads up a bit later without retyping the whole thing, and it would make nudges feel way more flexible for those in-the-moment workflows.

@talha6u9u Good news — this already exists! Snooze is built right into the nudge card, so when an alert fires you can tap it to push it back (e.g. 15 min) without retyping anything. Give it a try and let us know if the flow feels right or if you'd want more granular time options

Would love to see a Chrome extension version that works right in the browser toolbar so I can set reminders without opening a separate tab every time.

@ilyastalu70578 Great news - that's already how it works! 🎉 nudgeTab is a Chrome extension that lives right in your toolbar. Click the icon on any page, set a reminder, and you're done — no separate tab or app needed. It's actually the whole point: staying exactly where you already are.
A nice idea, but it would be even better if you could trigger reminders based on context, like setting one for when a specific website's content changes or a product comes back in stock. That would make nudgeTab way more useful for things I actually care about tracking online.

@berivannurkan Love this! context-based triggers (price drops, back-in-stock, content changes) would take nudgeTab from "remind me at a time" to "remind me when something actually happens," which is a much stronger use case for stuff like shopping or tracking pages. That's a different beast technically (needs monitoring, not just scheduling) but it's a great direction to think about. Appreciate you flagging exactly the kind of tracking you'd want — really helpful signal for where to take this next.

The little indicator that follows your cursor and reminds you which site you're saving it to feels so thoughtfully designed, such a small touch that makes the whole flow feel frictionless.

the little floating icon that pops up when you highlight text is honestly so clean, feels like it just belongs there instead of feeling bolted on
