Hey Product Hunt! I’m an indie iOS developer for over 3 years now. I’ve built a few apps, but Nova is the one I’m most excited to share.
I created it because I wanted to use short breaks to actually learn something — but most apps felt overwhelming or like more work. So I built Nova: a microlearning app that helps you explore big ideas through small, focused lessons.
With Nova, you get:
• 5-minute lessons, broken into bite-sized chapters
• A quick quiz at the end to help you remember
• 100+ lessons across 10+ topics — psychology, history, science, art, and more
• Streak tracking, reminders, and saved progress
• One free lesson every day — no subscription required
All features are free to use. The full content library is part of a paid upgrade, but everything else — including daily free lessons — is available to everyone.
I wrote the content (with help from AI + research), designed the UI, and built the app myself in about a month. It’s iOS-only for now.
