for the new notion calendar update:
love how i can integrate calendars from different google accounts - before on googlecal it just showed up as "busy" because my org email can't be integrated with my personal account!
big fan of the appointment availabilities function - can simply copy paste it over instead of manually typing it up
The standout feature of Notion is its incredible versatility. It's a chameleon in the world of productivity apps, transforming from a simple note-taking platform to a comprehensive project management tool. There's no area of my life that doesn't have a Notion aspect to it right now. From work project management to travel planning, note taking or cooking, there's a template or a Notion page for everything. The UI is clean and intuitive, and makes navigating through different functionalities a breeze.
I like Notion in the PC version and then again I don't like it. E.g. for things I use every day, taking notes, making efficient summaries. Notion needs more freedom, like Canvas Docs has. Whether it's to quickly jot down notes or add your own graphics to notes or insert videos, but also to continue writing on the right or left. It currently looks terrible and is not useful without wasting so much unused space. Many of my fellow students and I, or business partners, are using Canvas Docs more and more. Many even use the free version as it offers all the things I listed above. But what bothers everyone is the cumbersome menu to change fonts or colour text. Whereby the colours are really not good. They look very pastel. I have often been asked whether the red is a red or an orange colour. They don't glow. In addition, for each selection you have to go through the cumbersome steps of selecting something, then going to the menu, then to colours, then selecting. That's 4 steps that could be made into just one step with a side menu, as is the case with other apps. In the beginning I was a 100% Notion user, now it's more and more just for filing, but not for working effectively, unless I ONLY have text to write.
