Nothing is worse than reading long boring emails. Get your point across by writing easy to read emails with this chrome extension that creates Notion-like HTML elements simply by typing out shortcut commands like “/h1”, “/callout yellow”, “/table 3x3” and more
@max15 That's a good idea - since even opening the Notion page in the browser, copy and paste to Gmail will break the UI. If more people upvote your idea, definitely something we can look into!
I'm guessing this is designed for internal emails? Even still adding HTML elements to your email seems like a fast pass to the promotions tab in gmail.
Hi @will_allred,
We use it mainly for internal emails, or when communicating to our stakeholders. Think of those emails that you write to get things done, to communicate, to delegate.
For marketing and sales emails there are probably way more powerful tools that get the same things done :)
When our company introduced Notion for product and tech documentation, we were amazed with how joyful it was to write documentations, briefs and other docs. We thought how great would it be to bring the power of beautiful formatted elements to Gmail. Since there was no tool out there that would get this job done so seamlessly and would work right in the browser, we went ahead, borrowed a bit from Notion and created this simple and easy to use extension.
Please have fun with it and let us know what you think. We are always looking for feedback on how we can improve.
