Hi Product Hunt! π
I created NotaTask because I was tired of switching between complex task managers and note-taking apps to organize my daily life. I wanted something simple that lets me capture thoughts and turn them into tasks naturally.
NotaTask is built for individuals who believe personal productivity shouldn't be complicated. There are no overwhelming features, no team collaboration overloadβjust a clean space for your notes and tasks.
I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback! What's your biggest struggle with current note-taking and task-management apps?

A fresh look for notatask π¨
We've completely redesigned NotaTask with a focus on what matters most β getting things done, faster.
Here's what's new:
π Dark mode β A sleek, modern dark theme that's easy on the eyes whether you're planning your day or wrapping up late at night.
π Redesigned task view β Tasks are now front and center. Search, filter by status, and take action with fewer clicks. Everything you need is right where you expect it.
π§ New sidebar navigation β Quick access to all sections of the app without leaving your workflow.
π± Mobile-first improvements β The same clean experience on mobile. Managing tasks on the go has never been easier.
And one more thing...
We're excited to announce that the first Android version of NotaTask is coming soon! Stay tuned for the release.
We'd love to hear your thoughts β what features would you like to see next?
π± NotaTask is officially live on Android β and it's got a whole new look!
A while back I mentioned Android was coming soon. It's here! π
Also went back and did something I'd been putting off for way too long β completely rebuilt the entire web app from Bootstrap to Tailwind CSS. The old UI was honestly holding the product back, and a lot of you told me it felt cluttered. This is the real fix, not a patch.
Here's what's new:
π± Native Android app β built with Flutter, talks to the same backend as web. Tasks, goals, habits, documents β all of it, on your phone now.
[Play Store link]
π¨ Full UI rebuild β Bootstrap is gone. Everything is now Tailwind CSS, cleaner, faster, more consistent across every page.
π iOS via PWA β no native iOS app yet (bootstrapping this solo, no paid Apple dev account), but the web app is fully responsive now, so "Add to Home Screen" gets you a genuinely solid app-like experience.
πΎ Automated daily backups β behind the scenes, but important: your data is now backed up daily, so NotaTask is more production-ready and safer to depend on long-term.
Slowly but surely turning this from "the thing I built for myself" into something I'm comfortable telling more people to actually rely on.
What would make you switch from your current task/notes app to NotaTask? Genuinely want to know what's still missing.
π― Excited to share a new feature we just launched in NotaTask - Yearly Goals tracking!
Have you ever set a New Year's resolution only to forget about it by February? We've been there. That's why we built this feature to help you achieve those big dreams.
What's cool about it:
β’ Set and track your major goals for the year
β’ Break them down into bite-sized tasks
β’ Track progress with a clean visual dashboard
β’ Tag and filter goals (because life isn't one-dimensional!)
My favorite part? You can turn those vague goals like "learning a language" into actual, doable steps. Each big goal can have its task list. Progress over perfection, right?
Already using it to track my YouTube journey and reading goals. What would you use it for?
After chatting with many of you about feature requests and bug reports, I realized we needed a better way to hear your voice. So, I've added Canny integration to ensure your ideas shape NotaTask's future.
Now you can:
β’ Submit bug reports (because nobody likes those pesky bugs!)
β’ Share your feature ideas
β’ Upvote suggestions from other users
β’ Track what's being worked on
β’ See our public roadmap
Building in public is more fun when you're part of the journey. What features would you love to see in NotaTask?

Just shipped a game-changing update to NotaTask! π
Users want to have more control over task reminders, we've completely revamped our notification system.
You can now schedule your own custom reminders for each task (goodbye one-size-fits-all approach!). Plus, if you're not a fan of our default 1-hour heads-up, you can now switch it off entirely in your preferences.
Custom reminder limits:
β’ Free: 1 per task
β’ Standard: 3 per task
β’ Premium: 5 per task
Small change, big impact on staying on top of your tasks - exactly how you want it!

Just shared an exciting update for NotaTask! π
Super stoked to announce that we've added Progressive Web App (PWA) support! Now you can keep your notes, tasks, and goals at your fingertips by installing NotaTask directly on your phone - no App Store needed.
I've been hearing from many of you who wanted a more mobile-friendly experience, and while we're working on native apps, I didn't want to keep you waiting. Just hit "Add to Home Screen" and you'll get that app-like experience you've been asking for.
Been testing this myself for the past week, and it's made a huge difference in how I use NotaTask throughout the day. Perfect for quick task updates and jotting down ideas on the go.
Would love to hear your thoughts if you try it out! How are you using NotaTask in your daily workflow?
