I am a clinical pharmacist specialising in type 2 diabetes and nutrition. I built Norfolkdiabetessupport because the NHS appointments are 10-15 minutes long, few and far between. The website offers 24/7 AI support -with my clinical knowledge baked in and human escalation layer, glucose log with clinical interpretation, medical text translator, community forum and a growing blog.
@adela_c Hi, I am not diabetic, but I love what you've done during your time off. You've found a gap, the in between sessions for a type 2 diabetic. Seems like a legitimate problem to solve from the diabetic community and I wish you the best of luck! Have you done any research on your competitors in the market? How are you handling data privacy and security?
@wereframe thank you for asking! In the UK there is no equivalent service at present. I'm registered with the ICO for handling personal data under GDPR regulations but users can set a username when signing up so everything remains anonymous when on the forum🙂
