Noddle is open-core: the editor itself is MIT-licensed — self-host it free with your own AI key (draw.noddle.dev, repo linked above). The cloud version adds accounts, teams, sharing, version history and built-in credits, and it's what keeps the project sustainable. So Noddle's core promise is simple: whatever goes in — a hand-drawn sketch, a photo of a whiteboard, plain text, or Mermaid — what comes out is a real, editable board.
