Currency exchanges run on a dozen currencies at once, and most still close their books in spreadsheets. Nexto is a multi-currency back-office where double-entry accounting is the default, not an add-on: every trade, transfer and cash movement posts its own balanced document, with live position and profit per currency. Payment receipts customers send over WhatsApp are read by OCR and become real documents. Multi-branch, per-user permissions, Excel/PDF export, 5 languages. Cloud or self-hosted.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built Nexto after watching currency exchange offices move serious money through spreadsheets. It isn't laziness — general accounting software assumes one base currency, and an exchange has ten. The moment you buy dollars with lira and settle in dirhams, the usual tools quietly start lying to you about your profit.
So the whole thing is built around multi-currency being the default, not a plugin:
• Every trade, transfer and cash movement posts its own balanced double-entry document. You don't journal anything by hand.
• Live position and P&L per currency, with cross-rate anchoring so profit is calculated the way a dealer actually thinks about it.
• Customers send payment receipts on WhatsApp. Nexto reads them with OCR, matches them to the open commitment, and an operator just confirms instead of typing.
• Multi-branch with automatic inter-branch accounts, per-user permissions, full activity log.
• Every report filters server-side and exports to Excel or PDF.
• Interface in English, Persian, Turkish, Arabic and Kurdish.
It runs in our cloud or on the customer's own server, and a complete restorable backup is always available. In this industry that isn't a feature, it's the price of being trusted at all.
Happy to get into the accounting model, the OCR pipeline, or why we didn't build this on top of an existing ERP.
