Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Semas, the maker of NewTales. NewTales started because I wanted to create and narrate original stories for my children. Then I thought: what if they could also make their own stories easily, from just a simple idea? I shared it with friends, got a good response, and decided to keep building until it became a real product I could share more broadly. Today, NewTales turns a prompt into a full story experience: story text, cover art, and narrated audio. A big part of the product is genre quality. Each genre uses its own custom prompt framework, so horror, fantasy, mystery, romance, and bedtime stories are shaped differently in tone, pacing, and storytelling feel. I’d especially love feedback on: • whether the genre differences feel real • which genre works best right now • whether the audio experience feels compelling • what feels unclear or unfinished Quick launch note: this is an indie product, so if hosted generation gets overloaded, some requests may be queued or temporarily limited.
