NewsHive is a cleaner and calmer way to read the news. Pick your own topics and add your own sources, read full articles without the clutter, and get a quick summary when you're short on time. No engagement tricks, no algorithm deciding what you see. Just the news you actually asked for. NewsHive is designed around a simple idea: If you actually read the news, the app should get out of your way. I want to put NewsHive in front of people who care about how they consume information.
I didn't like Google News, so I built NewsHive.
I've been building NewsHive solo for 10 months, and it's now been downloaded close to 1,000 times.
A lot of what's in the app today came directly from what real early users asked for. Better images, more reliable RSS feeds, a cleaner premium experience.
I didn't want another social feed for news. I didn't want an endless stream optimized for engagement.
I wanted somewhere I could open in the morning, see the topics and sources I care about, read a few articles, and close the app.
