Yo! Mesh here, the SOLO founder of News Pulp. The idea for this project came to me when I was just 16 years old, as I witnessed the declining credibility of news media in the eyes of the public. Despite this, traditional media outlets have managed to stay afloat. However, with the recent advancements in Large Language Models (LLMs), I believe now is the perfect time to bring about change. Initially, I considered building a news aggregator, but I realized that this approach wouldn't be effective in long term. Aggregators tend to encourage traditional media to focus on make their "system" better rather than make their "content" ethics and quality better. That's why I decided to take a different path with News Pulp. So now you might ask "Are you try to replace all journalists?". 100% NO. I have immense respect for investigative journalists who dedicate weeks, months, or even years to create insightful, in-depth news stories that shed light on the truth, offer new perspectives, and contribute to the betterment of society. Instead, our objective is to reduce the power structures within journalism and empower journalists to focus on what they do best. As vision models continue to improve and many ideas in my brain, there is enormous potential for News Pulp to grow and evolve. Our vision is to provide everyone with access to fast, unbiased, and informative news in the future.

I love the idea, simple design with no emotion and users can click on the paragraphs to agree and disagree with LINKS to other sources. Maybe there can be a bias indicator on other sources people include? I like mediabiasfactcheck.com when I was studying communication and media. The audio reader didn't work but maybe that was my popup blocker. Also, I'm thinking its not bad that users who don't pay have to wait a few days because maybe by then there would be some revisions from the real indie journalists trying to correct the narrative. Solid idea, keep it up!

@jonwesselink Thank you for your positive feedback and valuable suggestions! We appreciate your support. Incorporating a bias indicator for user-included sources is a great idea. We plan to add Google's Fact Check tools and datacommons.org to increase credibility by mid-April. We apologize for the audio reader issue. Based on our investigation using Sentry, the error message "Cannot redefine property: googletag" suggests that it's mostly related to popup blockers. We will fix that to ensure a smooth user experience. Thanks again for your encouragement. We'll continue to refine our platform based on user feedback.
