Apple killed Network Utility. I'm bringing it back!

Remember Network Utility? The app that shipped with every Mac for 20+ years? Apple quietly removed it in Big Sur with no replacement. NetUtil brings it back as a modern app. What you get: - Info - Ping - Traceroute - Lookup - Netstat - Whois - Finger - Port Scan No subscription. No account. No data collection. Just a straightforward tool that does what it says. Built for anyone who's ever typed ping google.com into Terminal and wished there was a better way.

Hi! I built NetUtil because I got tired of opening Terminal every time I needed to run a quick ping and I missed the old Network Utility Apple used to ship with Mac. It wasn't fancy, but it worked. Then in Big Sur they just removed it with no replacement. There are other tools out there, but I wanted a modern interface, and to get more experience working in the Apple development ecosystem. It does ping, traceroute, port scanning, DNS lookups, whois, and everything Network Utiliy used to do. Nothing more than that. If you find bugs or have feature requests, I'm happy to hear them.
