Hi all 👋 I’m João, the Founder and Engineer behind NerdHunt, a job board for the tech industry. — “There’s a lot of job boards already!”, I hear you typing 🥶… True, but hear me out I find most niche job boards today focus heavily on selling job posts, but don’t seem to put the same kind of effort into providing a good job searching experience: ⛔ Some don’t offer searching by location ⛔ Some say there are N results, but show much less ⛔ Some websites are spread across different domains just to rank higher on Google ⛔ Some hide the jobs behind a paywall ⛔ Some keep expired jobs listed to increase the number of pages on Google ⛔ Others simply break once you try to search something That just makes for a frustrating UX for the job seeker. So, that’s the problem NerdHunt aims to solve: To provide the best UX for job seekers. In practice, it means: ✅ Relevant jobs ✅ Intuitive user interface ✅ Useful search filters ✅ No paywall for jobs ✅ No expired jobs listed Software products are never really done, there’s always things to improve, but I hope you enjoy using it and follow along for the updates. I release updates regularly, every 1 or 2 weeks. It’s being a lot of fun working on this product and seeing it improve with each update. Looking forward to getting your feedback 📝
