On May 3, over 25 lakh students will take India's NEET exam, the stepping stone to a medical college. All those who pass have to go through a complex counselling process which determines the college you get. The process runs four months, across state and central systems, each with different timelines, category codes, and cutoff data buried in hundreds of government PDFs. Most families struggle to make sense of the counselling process and end up paying ₹15K–₹1L to private counsellors. We built neet2seat because we thought this was problem tech could solve. The data is public. We parsed three years of official allotment records across 500+ colleges and built free tools on top of it: a college predictor, rank predictor, AI choice filler, and a round-by-round counsellor. The site has been in beta for a while. And we officially launched this week and got picked up by NDTV Profit and Business Today. We currently cover Maharashtra, Karnataka, and All India Quota.
