It isn't mentioned anywhere - but after free trial (10 days) it's ~10 usd per year (not per month) from what i can see. I'm ok with good paid apps - but i don't like this kind of surprises.
dre
@pawel_mikolajczuk Hi 👋 it's 10 usd per year :) (not per month). And there's a 10 day free trial with 10 more days if a user subscribes to the yearly plan.

@_andre_sousa Hey, and it's ok. But why hiding that information before someone install app?
dre
@pawel_mikolajczuk I didn't hide it on purpose. And it's still free to try it for 10+10 days. Where do you suggest I include that information? Below "Click here to download" button?
dre
@pawel_mikolajczuk added pricing text below "download" button. Thanks for your feedback!

Hi @andresousa I got an error when launching in macOS 10.5 (Catalina). ...because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.
dre
@puran Hi 👋 I believe that's a warning when trying to install the app. It happens because the app archive was signed and exported without Apple's notary service. I'll update the app with notary service on the next version. I also tried to publish the app on the Mac App Store, but unfortunately Apple rejected it, claiming that it was too simple. 😔 But some of us, truly appreciate simplicity :)
dre
hi @puran! I have updated the app to support macOS 10.5 (Catalina). You can try it out now 🙂 thank you!

Love the idea of the product. Just wondering, does any of the revenue/profit go to NASA or to the credited photographer?
dre
Hi @will_harlow! The app uses a public and official API provided by NASA (https://data.nasa.gov/Space-Scie...). The revenue/profit goes to the app developer (me), who provides an easy and convenient way to access this data. The data itself is open and public.
Primer
I get this: “NASA Picture” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.
dre
@mickc79 thanks - I'm looking into it! @puran already mentioned a related problem. I'm assuming this is a Catalina-only issue.
dre
@mickc79 @puran I'll update you on this topic!

@mickc79 I have updated the app to support macOS 10.5 (Catalina). You can try it out now 🙂 thank you!
