I’m Lonzo, founder of Narratora.

I’m a filmmaker, writer, director and producer, and Narratora grew out of a problem I’ve experienced repeatedly in my own work:

The source document is often already there. The challenge is everything you have to create from it afterward.

For filmmakers, that source is often a screenplay.

Once the screenplay is written, the work doesn’t stop. Producers, directors and writers still need to break it down for production, evaluate it professionally through script coverage, package the project, build pitch deck materials, create presentation slides and one-pagers, develop key art, and prepare everything needed to move the project forward.

A lot of that work still means jumping between different tools, manually extracting information, reorganizing the same material repeatedly, or copying a screenplay into a chatbot and figuring out what prompts to write.

I wanted to build something different.

Instead of starting with an empty chatbot and figuring out what to ask it, Narratora is built around the outcome you’re trying to create.

And particularly in filmmaking, there’s an important principle behind what I’m building:

Narratora does the mechanical first-pass work. You make the creative and professional decisions.

It isn’t being built to replace writers, directors, producers, production managers, ADs, designers or other professionals. It’s designed to reduce repetitive work so people can spend more time on judgment, creativity and actually moving projects forward.

We’re still building, testing and improving Narratora, and I’d love the Product Hunt community to put it through a real test.
