We were using Merge and found that for our issue tracking / ticketing system needs it wasn't anywhere near up to scratch. Switched to Nango and never looked back, been paying customers for ~1yr now with Nango powering Jira and Linear integration in production. A++
@an_zuo API gateways manage requests from internal systems or users, Nango Auth authorizes syncing data from your app's backend to 3rd-party APIs. So they have different purposes, and you can definitely have both.
To give you an example:
You build a SaaS that does email outreach. You want to offer integrations to let your users import contacts from their CRM. You would use Nango to build integrations to many CRMs faster (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc).
